Mysuru extends Dasara traffic curbs till Oct 31, 3 pm to midnight

What happened

Mysuru City Police extended traffic and parking restrictions until October 31, daily from 3 pm to midnight, during the extended Dasara illumination.

If you plan an evening drive or bus trip from Bengaluru to Mysuru for Dasara sightseeing, central routes will run one-way and roadside parking is banned, so plan extra time and parking in advance.

1Restrictions apply daily from 3 pm to midnight until October 31
2Anticlockwise one-way around Mysuru Palace; clockwise system around Big Clock Tower, Ashoka Road, Irwin Road and Nehru Circle
3Parking banned on both sides of Sayyaji Rao Road, JLB Road, MG Road, BN Road, Ashoka Road and Nelson Mandela Road, plus areas near Mysuru Zoo and Exhibition Grounds
4Order issued by Commissioner Seema Latkar under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and Karnataka Traffic Control Act, 1960
