A 46-year-old fisherman from Kodavoor village has been missing since October 5 after police said he fell from a fishing boat off Malpe. Malpe police have issued a public appeal to trace Das Shankar.
Coastal fishing remains one of Karnataka's most dangerous occupations, and police appeals for missing persons depend on tips from the public.
Check with Malpe police at 0820-2537999, 9480805447, or 9480805430 if you have any information about Das Shankar.
