The BJP said its National President Amit Shah visited the Udupi Sri Krishna Matha in Udupi, Karnataka, on October 24. Visits by top leaders usually bring large crowds and security arrangements to the temple town.
VIP visits can cause traffic diversions and security checks around Udupi, which matters if you are travelling to the coast by bus, car, or bike.
Check local traffic advisories before travelling to Udupi temple areas this week.
