What happened

Gujarat ATS arrested international drug trafficker Salim Ismail Dola, deported from Turkiye, in the Rs 438.64 crore mephedrone seizure case from a Vadodara factory in 2022. Dola allegedly supplied chemicals and traded the finished product.
