Bihar approves Rs 10.38 crore for flood zone study, dam safety assessment

What happened
The Bihar cabinet has approved Rs 10.38 crore for two measures: a Rs 1.99 crore flood plain mapping study along the Kosi, Gandak and Sone rivers with the National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee, and a Rs 8.39 crore safety assessment of 24 dams.
