The Indian Green Building Council has urged the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board to revive defunct rainwater-harvesting pits to tackle the city's declining groundwater, saying poor maintenance has left most pits across the erstwhile GHMC area blocked.
