Hyderabad Green Water tankers launch in Nov for non-potable uses

HMWSSB will launch Green Water tanker services in November to supply treated sewage water for construction, industries, parks and road cleaning in Hyderabad.

• 2Managing Director K Ashok Reddy ordered officials to complete technical and operational arrangements by November 1
• 3Tankers will carry distinctive branding and GPS, while filling stations will use E-POS machines and a dedicated mobile app for booking and payments
• 4Demand will be assessed from construction projects, industries, commercial complexes, government institutions and gated communities
• 5Water quality will be tested regularly to maintain prescribed standards
