After Supreme Court rebuke, magistrate suspended for notice to student over CJP protest

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta on Thursday informed the Supreme Court that the Executive Magistrate who issued notice to student and SFI leader Akshat Tripathi, in violation of the top court’s orders, had been suspended from office.
