The Bar Council of India (BCI) has directed all State Bar Councils and Centres of Legal Education to immediately implement its new social media and digital ethics guidelines, asking them to ensure that advocates, law students and interns comply with strict rules governing online conduct, courtroom decorum and professional confidentiality.
