The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has approved Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy (semaglutide 2. 4 mg) for the treatment of fatty liver disease, now called MASH (Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis).
