Civic body launches pilot project to cut noise pollution in Ahmedabad

What happened
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has started a technology‑based pilot to curb noise from vehicle horns. IoT‑enabled YHonk devices, made by YHonk Technology Pvt. Ltd., will be fitted in 300 vehicles within AMC limits.
