You open a news app and thirty minutes disappear into photographs you didn't need to see, videos that autoplay, arguments between strangers, and headlines designed to make you angry. You close it knowing less than you think and feeling worse than you should.

Activ.news is the opposite of that. Balanced perspectives, verified facts. A companion, not a feed. A complete briefing in minutes, then it ends.

The covenant

We keep four promises to every reader:

• No photos. Every card is text. No image is used to sensationalise, prime, or manipulate emotion.
• No ads. Nothing on the page is trying to sell you anything. Advertising, tracking, and dark patterns are forbidden by the covenant regardless of who owns or funds the company.
• No tracking. We record anonymous open counts; nothing that names or profiles you.
• A complete briefing, then it ends. One edition. When you finish, we tell you you're done, so you can put the phone away.

How to trust us

Trust is earned in daylight. Two pages show our machinery: how we verify walks through the exact rules the compiler enforces on every edition; corrections is a public ledger — newest first — of every mistake we've published and fixed.
